Embedded Developer

EMBEDDED DEVELOPER HILLSBORO, OR 18 MONTH CONTRACT

Our high-visibility client requires a candidate to work on software and firmware development for a custom data acquisition board interfacing to an industrial-grade single-board computer. Work includes multi-channel data acquisition, and optimization of signal processing algorithms, communications to server-based host, testing, and documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 10+ years in Embedded development, including
- Software architecture
- System software development
- Embedded application development
- Firmware and device driver development
- Expertise in Embedded system software architecture
- Expertise in C and C++
- Expertise with Windriver Linux strongly favoured
- Expertise in developing communications via USB protocol
- Experience with standard development tools: revision control, issue tracking, profilers, debugging, etc.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Signal processing, pattern recognition, and/or machine learning algorithms on Embedded systems
- Experience with ST Microcontroller development

EDUCATION:

Electrical and/or Computer Engineering Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
