Embedded Systems Engineer - Automotive Systems

The Role

You will make a major contribution to the development of high quality, robust systems solutions using state of the art techniques to meet the stringent safety and performance demands of this rapidly expanding market.

What you'll do as part of this team, you will develop your expertise in:

* Understanding of the control of safety critical systems in real time.

* Designing and validating the systems in an automotive environment

* Showing an ability to adapt to changes using a rounded knowledge of systems in their entirety.

The successful applicant will be able to provide demonstrable experience in the following

Essential:

* Real-time, embedded C skills with hands-on debugging experience.
* Proven experience as a system design engineer.
* Good practical knowledge of embedded software and system development methods and tools.
* Extensive knowledge of Matlab and Simulink.

Desirable:

* System validation including test planning and specification
* Automotive embedded software experience
* UML design experience
* An appreciation of digital and/or analogue electronic hardware
