Embedded, CAN, SPI, USB, UART, I2C, ARM

I have an immediate requirement for an automotive client of mine who is looking for an Embedded software enegineer to join their team. Ideally you will be able to hit the ground running on this project as they are working to a strict deadline.

Required skills.
1. Excellent programming skills in 'C' for Embedded applications.
2. A thorough understanding of Embedded software development techniques.
3. Good analytical and problem solving skills for real world problems.
4. Must be able to work as part of a team and also on their own.
5. The ability to take ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
6. Competency using common test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers and DVMs.
7. Ability to write software for microcontrollers without an RTOS.

Beneficial skills.
1. Experience of automotive Embedded systems.
2. Basic knowledge of electronics and ability to read schematics.
3. Experience in using automotive communication protocols. CAN, LIN etc.
4. Experience of common Microcontroller communication protocols I2C, SPI etc.
