THE PROJECT:

An Electronics business in Coventry who are the market leaders in there industry sector have an exciting opportunity for a real time Embedded Software Engineer to join there tight knit team on a new product development.

In 2011 and 2012 this Electronics company have hit the market hard with new product ranges as customers have shown a strong demand for there products, with sales rocketing.

You have the opportunity to join this team for an initial 6 month contract where you will be responsible for the Embedded Software programming of there latest product.

The new device you will be working on is using a 16 bit PIC Microcontroller which is driving a colour touchscreen / TFT display. You will be programming the device in Embedded C.

For this role you should have strong Embedded C and PIC Microcontroller experience. It is also important you have written Embedded C code to drive a touchscreen display / TFT / GUI.

Experience designing GUI's is highly desirable but not essential for this role.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Embedded C
Real Time programming
PIC Microcontrollers ( ideally 16 bit )
Experience writing code to drive a touchscreen / TFT / GUI display

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: (not essential)
USB, Ethernet
C++ / Windows for GUI design
