ELT/Informatica Developer - Immediate Start - June 2013 Contract

A fantastic opportunity has become available for experienced ETL/Informatica Developers within a Government Department for a long-term contract role.

- IMMEDIATE START
- JUNE 2013 CONTRACT

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- ETL development for the Datawarehouse projects using one or more of the following products Microsoft SQL Server 2005 & 2008, Cognos 8.x Business Intelligence product suite, Cognos 7.x PowerPlay, Informatica PowerCenter 8.x ETL, Lumigent AuditDB 6.x., and Microsoft Visual software tools, including Source Safe
- Transfer relevant knowledge gained in all avenues of Datawarehouse Systems Administration to permanent members of the team in a timely manner and on a regular basis; and
- Work with product designers, technical leads and architects within the Branch and provide input to architectural and design documentation.

SKILLS:

- Demonstrated experience as an ETL developer, particularly using Informatica;
- Proven knowledge of data warehousing environments, principles and methodologies; and
- High level documentation skills.
