*Develop AMEC male connector portfolio for devices using requirements from customers, Delphi Bill of Design & Process and design guidelines
*Work with test and simulation engineers in order to generate design guidelines and best practice in the fields of signal integrity and EMC
*Develop design strategies which meet customer validation requirements
*Lead the device product development process (including the on-time completion of internal design reviews, DFMs, DFMEAs, tolerance stack studies)
*Assure thorough design reviews throughout the device product design cycle using analytical tools, development testing, prototypes, multi-disciplines teams. Analyze problems, develop and implement solutions
*Support customer inquiries and issues
*Meet Delphi and customer timing requirements
*Follow device engineering best practices and use the appropriate design tools to ensure that designs are robust, low cost, designed for manufacturability and to meet all customer technical requirements including passing validation
*Drive material cost reduction in designs
*Complete designs from concept development to program launch

VORAUSSETZUNGEN:

*A degree of mechanical or electrical Engineering
*Professional experience: At least 10 years in the fields mentioned above
*Experienced in developing design strategies to meet customer requirements
*Experienced in generating design Guidelines and best practise in the fields: Signal integrity and EMC (electromagnetic compatibility)
*Experienced in completion of designs from concept development to program launches
*Solution-focused apporaches
*Customer-focused and cost efficient working methods
*Very good communication skills
*Capacity for teamwork
