Electronics Instrument Technician I

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ELECTRONICS INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN I to join our client in Allentown, PA.

DURATION: Approximately 11 months.

PAY RANGE: Up to $23.63 per hour.

NOTES:

- The contractor will start full time on day shift with possible afternoon shift work after a period of training.
- Daily hours for the assignment: normally 8 hours per day/5 days per week.
- Overtime: 10 hours per day may be possible and as well as Saturday work.
- There are currently 2 shifts, DAY 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and AFTERNOON 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monitor cleaning, welding, fabrication and assembly activities in Semiconductor High Tech and Clean Room areas for compliance with specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, dimensional inspection of tubing and piping components and assemblies, verification of flow schematics and visual inspection of welds, troubleshooting electrical systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Have working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.
- Associates degree or technical school diploma, preferably in Electronics.
- Technical training in electronic computer controls or PLC process controls, preferred.
- We are looking for a candidate with one to three (1 - 3) years of work experience and recently graduated from a program in industrial process controls at a technical school.
- Familiarity with PLC or Microprocessor based process controls.
- Perform helium leak tests with mass spectrometer leak detector, perform pneumatic control testing of ultra high purity equipment and gas panels/cabinets.
- Functional testing of electro-mechanical and electronic instrumentation.
- Calibration of pressure transducers and electronics weight scales and other process instrumentation.
