Electronics Engineer - High Speed Digital Design

Electronics Design Engineer - Permanent - Berkshire Are you an Electronics Design Engineer looking to make the next move in your career? I am looking to recruit a talented, hands on Electronics Design Engineer to join a leading, innovative company specialising in cameras. This is a permanent role based in Berkshire. The purpose of your role will be to define, specify, design and build braodcast systems to meet customer requirements. * Degree educated in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline (minimum 2:1) * Proven experience in the full design lifecycle from start to finish including test and support * 5 years commercial experience in hardware design * Experience of high speed digital design to a high standard * Schematic capture and multilayer PCBs * Practical experience of electronic test equipment (wiring, soldering, etc) * FPGA design using VHDL * Microprocessor design using embedded C programming (beneficial) * Communication protocols TCP/IP, ethernet, I2C, CAN, UART (beneficial) This role will suit a well rounded Electronics Design Engineer who is creative, hard working and can work in a team and on your own under minimum supervision. Joining a multi-disciplined team of engineers, you will be mentored by a Principle Electronics Engineer and report into the Development Manager. This is a great role which will give you exposure to a variety of work, allowing you to move into other areas of the business in the future. In addition, even if you are not a Principle Electronics Engineer you will get the opportunity to both contribute and steer projects. If you come from a broadcast, video or HD video background this will be advantageous. Salary will depend upon level of experience ranging from £35,000 - £38,000 per annum plus benefits and a performance related bonus.
