Electronics Engineer - Contract - Hampshire

A Electronics Engineer is required to join an ambitious, forward thinking company based in Hampshire. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a range of high quality electronics hardware. Development of instrumentation enables the product group to sell innovative, powerful and flexible products into business areas that support the corporate goals of profitability and the company's market leadership position.

The role will allow you to play a major part in the design and continuous improvement of the company's market leading products from specification through to entire product life cycle. This role will require you to work effectively within a dynamic, multi-discipline engineering team to deliver integrated solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:
*Taking part in feasibility studies, the scoping of projects and cost estimation.
*Contributing to project proposals and product architect definitions.
*Specify, design, implement and validate electronic hardware solutions.
*Assist in the investigation, selection and evaluation of new components and techniques.
*troubleshooting of circuit or manufacturing issues.
*To be the main point of contact on all electronic technical issues and provide the ability to steer the company forward in new technology.

Core requirements include:

*A degree in Electronic Engineering (2:1 minimum) discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience.
*Provide a technical lead in electronics
*Have experience of multiple design projects
*Ability to multi-task, work alone and work under pressure along with strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
*Strong analogue design skills are essential
*Complete understanding of the engineering change process and adhering to ISO 9001 quality practices.
*Full familiarity with designing and complying with CE.
