Electronics Engineer - Analogue & Digital

Our client has a requirement an experienced electronics design engineer. Suitable candidates will have good experience of both digital and analogue design but ideally with a proven capability in low power analogue design techniques.

Our client has developed innovative patented technology in the form of an advanced pressure management and remote control systems that continually monitors and controls the pressure of water in distribution networks, thus providing significant leakage reduction as well as many other benefits to Water Companies in the UK and overseas

The role will involve the following:
- Design of complex analogue circuits (discrete and op-amp based, very low power designs)
- Design of complex digital circuits (microcontrollers/CPUs/FPGA/PLD based systems, peripheral interface devices, glue logic, low/micro-power designs)
- Design of complex (up to 6 layer, double-sided) SM and conventional PCBs
- Use of simulation software (SPICE) e) Build of SM/conventional PCBs for prototyping & concept demonstration/proofinstalled.

Suitable candidates will be competent in the following
- Analogue Design
- Digital Design
- Some exposure to GSM, Bluetooth or similar technologies
