Rate: £35.00 per hour LTD

OUTSOURCE UK LTD is actively seeking to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer for a contract role on behalf of a client.

THE CLIENT:
A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

THE JOB:
The purpose of the Electronics Design Engineer role will involve the design and development of electronic products for the military aerospace industry. The job holder will be required to support existing electronic equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
The successful Electronics Design Engineer candidate will be responsible for the following:
VHDL design for CPLD's and FPGA's
Generate circuit schematics as well as design, test and validation documentation in accordance with company processes
Report to Project Managers on project progress and be able to deliver a project to budget and schedule constraints
Possess the ability to work well within a group of Electronic Design Engineers to deliver integrated solutions as well as being able to work independently
A high degree of tenacity will be required to drive the project from concept to delivery
Flexible proactive attitude will be required to react to changing customer requirements

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
Electronic Design Engineering experience in an Electronic Engineering environment
Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Working knowledge of Xilinx CPLD's and FPGA's is desirable
Designing for DO-254, EMC, Low Voltage Directive and ATEX for CE compliance is desirable
