Electronic Test Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ELECTRONIC TEST ENGINEER to join our client in Mountain View, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
- The test engineer will be responsible for understanding, executing, and documenting/presenting of the Memory Qualification Test suite.
- The engineer will take ownership of the execution aspect of the test process, and needs to be able to clearly summarize, report, and present test results.
- In addition, the engineer will be responsible for identification, escalation, debug, (create PS bugs) and mitigation of any test failure or issues, either memory or console related, prior to test review.

Job Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Degree: BS in EE, CE, or CS.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a design/testing environment.
- Understanding of at least one Scripting languages to parse through data. (Perl, Python, Lua, Windows Command, Bash, or equivalent).
- Failure Analysis.
- Board level design or testing experience.
- System PCB level debug and bring up experience.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience with Scripting languages (Perl, Python, Lua, Windows Command, Bash, or equivalent ).
- Knowledge of DDR Memory operation, particularly the interface.
- Skills in Microsoft Tools: XP, W7, W8, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills, as the position will require handling several ongoing activities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Hard working and willing to work long hours in order to complete tasks.
