Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

An experience Electronic Hardware Engineer with a track record of successfully delivering product designs from concept to production is needed to join a electronic goods manufacturer based nearChester.

You should be a natural team player with strong analytic and pragmatic problem solving skills.

The successful Electronic Hardware Design Engineer needs:

* Proven experience of design of microcontroller circuitry, preferably ARM, H8S and PIC family cores.
* Hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of circuit design and PCB layout, while also capable of firmware development necessary.
* Expertise in circuit design, such as load drivers, stepper motor control, circuitry control, ADC, DC-DC converter design and EMC.
* Schematic capture and PCB layout using Cadstar
* ISO 9001:2008 standards
* Design of test equipment and procedures for high reliability production of volume parts

* Experience of testing and compliance processes for EMC and other certifications (e.g. CE, LVD, CB, FCC, UL, etc) (would be advantageous).
* Experience of Blackberry, Windows CE, Android, iOS or other mobile applications would be useful (would be advantageous).
