Electronic Design Engineer

As an Electronic Design Engineer you will be part of a large team responsible for the implementation of hardware designs on the next generation of products. The team are responsible for the full product life cycle from requirements capture through to product release and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design digital electronic circuits.
* Design PCBs to meet signal integrity requirements.
* Participate in the architectural designs for electronic and electro-mechanical products
* Liaise with mechanical and software engineers.
* Manage prototype manufacture, manufacturing test and approval testing.

Skills and Competencies:

You should have experience in some or all of the following;-

* Designing digital electronic circuits using a combination of Application Specific and Programmable Logic devices.
* Signal integrity design for High Speed Differential links.
* Experience of designing for volume manufacturing.
* Programmable logic design using VHDL or Verilog
* Designing high speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR2/3 SAS etc.
* Designing with Intel and/or Freescale processors
* Writing software in Embedded C

Qualifications:

A good degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
