Electro Mechanical Assembler

ELECTRO MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER REQUIRED

- Provides assembly and electrical wiring support for systems, working from mechanical assembly and wiring drawings, in accordance with corporate workmanship and TQCS requirements.
- Understands and adheres to Policies and Procedures, and performs duties and responsibilities in accordance with ethical practices.
- This position responsible for following all applicable corporate, company, governmental, environmental, safety, quality, and regulatory policies and procedures as appropriate for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performs sub-panel and enclosure layout and mounting of all system hardware components in accordance with mechanical drawings.
- Performs necessary sheet metal work, utilizing power tools such as drill, bayonet saw, grinder, and hydraulic chassis punch.
- Fabricates small brackets and protective covers using drill-press, band-saw, and bench-grinder.
- Performs all system wiring as per electrical engineering drawings: schematics, wiring diagrams, and/or wire lists.
- Installs assembled sub-panels into enclosures both manually and with the aid of pallet-jack, lift truck, and prying tools.
- Controls project materials from time of issuance to completion of the project.
- Assists with test set ups and electrical interconnection of system deliverables for test purposes.

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
