Electrical Team Leader

Electrical Engineering Team Leader vacancy with leading vehicle manufacturer Warwickshire - Available a competitive salary circa £50-55,000 The electrical team leader is a senior role in the engineering department of this global business. Your main responsibility will be to deliver all technical aspects of a project within agreed parameters and to a defined specification and to lead the electrical technology strategy for the business. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing the electrical engineering team. - Ownership of electrical system hardware and software design - Define overall Engineering strategy for system and sub-system development - Component and sub-system validation and approval - Report progress of engineering activity and risk management. Sought after skills for this role include: - Truck, or related product, electrical system design experience. - Management of personnel - Management of electrical design projects from concept to production. - Knowledge of automotive CANbus systems - Production of electrical FMEA's - Understanding of legal requirements for vehicle & machine design. - Proficient in use of electrical CAD systems, VeSys or similar - Assist/compile suitable test/development programmes - A degree in electrical or electronic engineering or the ability to demonstrate the same level of competence - Ideally minimum 5 years experience in industry.
