Electrical Systems Engineer - Gaydon - 60 Week Contract - £30.00 an hour

This is a great opportunity to work on a contract basis with one of the UK's leading Automotive companies. You will need a strong desire to succeed and be willing to draw together many stakeholders to ensure a common goal is established and met. The role requires a high level of technical competence and project management, You will be expected to demonstrate capability in both areas.

Experience and skills required:

- Technical competence in electrical system development.
- Experience in electrical system test and issue investigation/resolution.
- Proven ability to influence and/or manage people - Experience in project management.
- Candidate must have a record of proactive delivery and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Ability to negotiate with other functions to achieve objectives. - Experience of working with suppliers of complex commodities
- Managing and leveraging maximum support from Supply base to achieve programme objectives
- An in depth understanding of PCDS.
- An ability to work independently and to prioritise will be required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills required to communicate at all levels.
- Knowledge of failure mode avoidance tools/Problem solving tools.
- A robust understanding of Electronics and electrical systems
- Experience in Electrical system testing
- Experience with vehicle networks such as CAN/LIN
- Automotive experience is desirable
