Electrical Project Manager

A Global Renewable Energy client is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to work on their offshore wind farm project. Our client is looking for an individual who can start this role 1st April 2015 and end by 31st March 2016 with the possibility of a 3 months extension. This is an onshore role 5 working days (Monday - Friday) per week approx. 8 hrs in average. The candidate could be located at either the clients UK offices or Copenhagen offices.

Job description:

Plan the design and execution of onshore electrical scope of works for their offshore wind farm project, regarding NGET interface
Ensure time, cost and quality of delivery
Manage the project team in collaboration with the project management team
Prepare project management documents
Plan and participate in project team meetings, reporting, and coordination across the package

Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience with Substation design and construction in the UK
Knowledge and experience with onshore cable works
Experience with connecting generation to NGET substation
Project management experience, preferably PMI or APMP certified

The Consultant must bring his/her own mobile telephone.
Onshore works: The client will provide office facilities available to the Consultant including office space and a PC
