Electrical I & C Engineer & Designer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ELECTRICAL I&C ENGINEER & DESIGNER to join our client in Denver, CO.

This is an excellent I & C opportunity for both Designers and Engineers to join our expanding mid-sized EPC client in Denver.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mid-level Instrumentation & Controls Designer/Engineer responsible for technical engineering/designing within heavy industrial, power, mining, or midstream/upstream oil and gas projects.
- Work with a small group of designers and engineers.
- Maintain effective communication with project team members and with the customer.
- May provide field support for construction activities associated to the project.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering task.

Job Qualifications:
- Opportunity for I&C Designer and Engineer:
- I&C Designer:
- Five (5) plus years of experience
- Experience using AutoCAD to design and develop Complex I/C loops, I/E Installation Details, Instrument Location Drawings, Motor Control Schematics, Conduit Routing, and Control Panel Design.
- Experience developing Instrument Index, Wiring Diagrams and Loop Drawings
- Experience with one-Lines, Motor Schematics, Lighting Panels, Lighting Packages, Grounding Packages, and Conduit & Cable Tray Layouts
- I PE registration a plus
- Five (5) plus years of experience
- Experience with ISA Instrument data sheets for PSVs, Control Valves, Transmitters and Flow Meters.
- Prior experience with: Instrumentation and Controls, cable tray sizing, PLC layout/design/installation, and hazardous locations
- Familiarity with recognized international codes and standards: NEC and API 500 etc.
- Experience with electrical studies/datasheets, equipment specifications, procurement packages, bid evaluations, single-line diagram, area classification drawings, power system studies and calculation, and requisitions.
- Competency in Instrumentation and Control Systems.
