Electrical Engineer

Lead Electrical Engineer - Milton Keynes - 12+ Month - Rates Negotiable

PMC Contract to supervise the design, construction and commissioning of a Polysilicon facility located in Yanbu.

The Lead Electrical Engineer's main responsibilities are:

* Review Customer technical requirements and ensure these are incorporated in EPC Contractors project related specifications and design drawings.

* These include collection and interpretation of engineering data, development of project design basis, development of specifications, and performance of engineering activities. Engineering Reports are often a work product.

* Review and/or development of project deliverables including:- Electrical procedures Technical specifications Conceptual design Data sheets One line diagrams Purchase requisitions Hazardous area drawings Preparation of cost estimate input.

* Coordinating electrical related issues with the other disciplines.

* Ensuring overall quality of the electrical design by performing regular reviews.

Must have:

* Electrical Engineering leadership experience on large EPC projects

* Must be able to demonstrate significant knowledge of European, American and International standards applicable to the petrochemical industry

* Have knowledge and experience of EHV - 115 kV, HV - 11 kV/3,3 kV, LV - 440/220 V electrical systems and equipment

* Significant understanding of hazardous area requirements, DSEAR, ATEX, IEC 60079, API RP 500 takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.

* An experienced Lead Electrical Engineer with design office and site experience gained with an EPC Contractor.
