Electrical Engineer

Yoh has an exciting six (6) month contract opportunity for an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to join our well established client located in Miami FL.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Electrical Engineer supports Electrical Engineering by designing components and systems modules of limited to moderate scope using electrical design CAD/CAE tools. Normally the Engineer receives no instruction on routine work but general instructions on new assignments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting theoretical and empirical analyses of simple electrical systems; interpreting experimental results and formulating conclusions;
- Documenting and communicating designs and test results; fabricating breadboards and prototypes; and developing test specifications and design verification experiments; supports project teams by installing and maintaining test instruments.
- Follows standard practices and procedures in analysing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Participates in the analysis, design and development of system applications.. Reports project status to supervisor.
- Provides quality assurance for adherence to technical standards.
- Adheres to policies and procedures.
- Self-starter, sense of urgency to resolve issues and complete projects
- To work well with others, coordinate efforts with own and other departments

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with zero to two (0-2) years of experience.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft office applications
- Innovative "out of the box" thinker that gets things done
- Understanding of modern design concepts and the Product Life Cycle
- Concentrates on key objectives despite distractions
- Overcomes potential stumbling blocks to achieve objectives.
