Electrical Design Engineer (m/w/d)

For our existing client we are currently looking for an electrical design engineer for a serh long-term project.

Workload: 50%
Location: 50% in D2, 50% remote
Required. Language skills: English (business fluent), German not mandatory

Your tasks:
- Integration design for electrical systems/components in aircraft or helicopters as an addition to type certification or as a minor modification.
- Creation of conceptual design, electrical architecture and specification, definition of interfaces and requirements, creation of test plans
- Support in the definition of certification programs and preparation of documentation to demonstrate compliance
- Detailed design with manufacturing and installation documentation
- Preparation of supplements to aircraft documentation
- Integration and test support

Must have:
- Expert in electrical/aeronautical engineering/systems engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years of project experience in similar position in the aerospace industry
- Very good knowledge of aircraft systems and related aircraft documentation, with deep understanding of system and electrical architecture, system interfaces and requirements engineering
- Good knowledge of certification regulations (EASA, FAA,...) and standards (CS-25, CS-29, ARP4754/4761, DO178, DO254,...)
