Electrical Design Engineer/Electrical Designer

A key client based in the East Midlands is looking for a Electrical Design Engineer for an initial 2 month contract. Ideally they will be looking for someone to start ASAP.

Essential skills:
*Current relevant qualifications in electrical engineering
*Solid recent experience in PLC-based hardware design for complete industrial processes, rather than individual machines
*Experience designing circuits for motor starters, and a variety of apparatus (eg valves, level sensors, limit Switches, temperature sensors, etc)
*Work to provided hardware specification and relevant standards (eg EN 60204, BS-EN 13849)

Nice to have skills (not essential and in no particular order):
*Hardware design for Rockwell or Siemens S7 based control systems using fieldbus
*Using bespoke hardware design CAD packages
*RUPlan experience
