We are looking for a number of very experienced EDS, E3D and 3D Automotive Design Engineers to join my client on a contract basis.

My client are a first tier supplier to the Automotive industry and is expanding their contract workforce.
Minimum 6 month contract with a look to extend further.

The Role
- Hands on creation of 3D models to product harness drawings to customer standards.
- Transforming 3D virtual designs and models into fully- engineered harness product.
- Producing electrical/mechanical proposals for EDS Component parts.

The successful candidate must have:
- Either E3D Modelling experience using Catia V5 or Experience in EDS/3D design in the automotive industry
- Experience using Team Centre/Teamcenter
- Knowledge of CAP-H/Vesys is advantageous
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and circuits
- Ability to generate 3D designs suitable for manufacture and installation
- Understanding of harness product, vehicle installation, and manufacturing constraints an advantage.
