Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer needed in Houston, TX for a a firm that serves the commercial and public works markets with Civil engineering, MEP engineering and Architectural services. This is a Contract to Perm position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide design services for electrical engineering discipline for projects including lighting and power systems.
- Production engineering, design calculations, ACAD drawing prep, plan reviews, and inter-discipline coordination.
- Assist with project management of MEP projects with limited responsible charge for project delivery, quality, and performance.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years consulting engineer with private sector - commercial and institutional facilities experience.
- Experience in consulting engineering designing power & lighting systems for small, medium and large commercial and institutional buildings.
- EIT or P.E. registration preferred.
- AutoCAD proficiency for drawing production required. LEED certification a plus.
