Electrical Design Engineer

Our client, a leading engineering and architectural firm is currently seeking a Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. Qualified candidates must have 3+ years of experience and a BSEE or 10+ years of relevant experience in the design and layout of lighting and power systems, size wire and conduit. This position is in the Fort Worth/ Dallas area and we are only seeking local talent at this time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Preparation of drawings utilizing AutoCAD and REVIT MEP.
- Basic design of lighting and power systems, size wire and conduit.
- Preparation of electrical one-line diagrams.
- Conducting lighting analysis utilizing various software packages.
- Power and Arc Flash analysis.

REQUIREMENTS

- BSEE and 3+ years or at least 10+ years of design and layout of lighting and power systems, size wire and conduit.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Competent in the design of the following technical areas: lighting and power system design, layout and sizing of lighting systems, selecting fixtures
- Relevant project experience in retail or distribution center design a plus
