Electrical Controls Engineer

A large Oil and Gas service company based in Aberdeen is recruiting a Electrical Controls Engineer on a contract basis. The contract itself is a long term contract and as well as offering longevity it also offers a competitive day rate. The client is looking for the right person to bring on board for this role and as such have identified the following experiences a must for all candidates who wish to be considered; - Previous Electrical/Controls experience - Working knowledge of Hydraulic Power Units and Electrical Power Units - Understanding and working knowledge of both Topside Controls (specifically PLC's) and Subsea Control Systems - Previous experience with Umbilical Reelers - Familiar with the process of electrical drawing and procedure review to ensure compliance with client specifications and the conducting on acceptance testing in accordance with those procedures The client will be looking to move fairly quickly on this role with a view to interview over the course of the next 2 weeks!
