Electrical CAD Engineer / Draughtsman

We are looking for a number of Electrical CAD Engineers to work in West Yorkshire. The position will be initially contract for 6mths and then Temp to permanent. This position would be ideal for a candidate who wants to develop their career further, who has enthusiasm and is willing to learn.

Experience:

- ONC/HNC or degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in use of intelligent software packages for automatic generation of wiring & cable diagrams from Schematic diagrams.
- Good knowledge CAD packages.

Job description:

The ideal candidate will have a background in power / rail or similar electrical industry or design engineering experience of capital equipment eg pumps, motors, compressors etc.

- Production of schematic diagrams from basic design concept drawings and engineer sketches.
- Production from schematic diagrams & site surveys interface wiring diagrams, block cable diagrams & schedules.
- Production of general arrangement & wiring diagrams.
