EL1 Management Accountant

Due to internal staff movement a position has been vacated with this diversely focused government department which requires the services of an experienced EL1 Accountant.

The role will focus on the implementation of a new COC model and the education of business lines relating to procedural requirements for compliance. Additional duties will be to update the department's CEI's in line with the new Department of Finance model.

We are looking for a degree qualified EL1 Accountant with a sound knowledge of federal government frameworks and legislative requirements. The successful candidate will be a good communicator and have strong written skills.

This role will be offered initially as a 6 month non-ongoing engagement at the EL1 level with the scope for an ongoing engagement dependant on performance and agency requirements.

CA/CPA qualifications and a current security clearance would be preferred, Australian citizenship is essential to be taken into consideration.
