Procurement of a german plant engineering company comprises buying of equipment and materials for our plants construction business worldwide.
As a member of Procurement Center Europe, you will be buying complex components of our Material Group Static Equipment, comprising columns, vessels and package units. Our suppliers are based mainly in Europe and Japan. Your tasks will be the following:

* Market screening as per the requirements of the project procurement strategy;

* Preparation of Inquiries;

* Bid evaluation;

* Formulation and negotiation of purchase order protocols;

* Price negotiations;

* Preparation of the Bid Tabulation;

* Issuance of the purchase order, including change management;

* Vendor rating;

* Reporting to the Project Procurement Manager and the Head of Material Group.

You have a degree in business administration, industrial engineering or similar as well as strong professional expertise in the international purchasing industrial goods.
You are interested in technical issues, target-oriented and self-motivated. Further, you are fluent in English. In other words: You possess the personal strengths of a successful buyer.
