EH&S Supervisor Construction (all Genders)

* Safety:
Safety ambassador.
Supervises the implementation of the project EH&S program, using the EH&S work processes, standards and procedures
Input for daily safety briefing
Giving safety/ plant introduction to new contractors on the site

* Maintaining contacts/consultation with:
Plant representatives (EH&S delivery Leader)
With the construction area team supervisors and construcion manager

* In execution of the work:
Writes/administers and corrects deviations in consultation with the Construction Manager
Consult in constructability and kick-off meetings. Acts as a Plant resource for related EH&S information about procedures, guidelines and standards.
Shares specific knowledge and experience with people in the field, both in advance (TRA/project discussions and intros) and during the execution of the work.
Reporting of the EH&S fieldwork (inspections, observations, etc.)
Maintaining and administering various company own safety program of the project, such as: BBP, MOS, etc.

* Security:
Leadership in setting safety expectations to the contractors.
Stop work in case of life-threatening situations.
In case of doubt, consult with Construction Manager.

Education/ experience
Middle Safety Officer or equivalent diploma.
In possession of Driver's License B.
Good communication of the (Dutch), English and French (English and mainly French is a must)
At least 5 years of experience in working in petro-(chemical) industry.

Technical competences :
Knowledge of using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Experience in observing, monitoring and correcting work on Construction projects in chemical plants.
