Responsibilities would include:
- Providing independent educational psychological advice that meets professional quality assurance standards across a range of statutory and non-statutory work.
- Providing advice, assessment, and casework to children and young people, their families and staff in schools in order to identify and meet the needs of vulnerable children and young people, especially those with specialist learning needs.
- Carrying out statutory duties for the assessment of children with Special Educational Needs.
In order to be considered for this role, you must be registered with the HPC and have an up to date knowledge of the psychology of child and adolescent development across the 0 to 19 age range, the psychology of emotional wellbeing and the psychology of mental health.
