My local authority client is currently looking for an interim Education and Safeguarding Consultant/Manager for an initial 6 month contract.
The role is to manage the development of safeguarding with education provision, working closely with the Local Authority Duty Officer, directly involved in investigations as well as providing training and development for staff and governors.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have extensive experience in safeguarding within an education environment. The client will consider candidates with either a background in teaching who have moved into safeguarding or a Social Worker who have experience working within a school environment. Substantial experience of working with Local Government is also an essential for this position.
