EDS Design Engineer (Harness Design)

A globally recognised name in automotive product design is now looking to recruit an additional 2 EDS design engineers on a 12 month contract basis, with potential for the roles to become long-term contract positions.

Joining a dedicated team of design and project engineers, you will be required to respond to multiple customer orders and produce harness and wiring designs using Catia V5. Alongside your primary responsibilities in a design engineer capacity, you will also be required to verify and validate existing systems along with current projects as they are developed. There may also be occasions where you will need to liaise with customers and accompany the engineering team to off-site design reviews.

You should be a proficient design engineer with an electrical bias, who is fluent with Catia V5 and able to demonstrate previous experience relating to wiring and harness design. Ideally you should have an automotive industry background, however this is not essential and you'll still be of extreme interest if applying from similar industries such as rail, aerospace or marine.
