Editorial Escalation Specialist

As an Editorial Escalation Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining relevant, high-quality and compliant advertisements on corporate properties and partner sites. This role works closely with a number of diverse teams including Legal, Product Marketing, Sales and Client Services and Support to drive system enhancements, process and operational improvements, quality decisions related to advertising standards and service/consulting and education to internal business partners to optimize Advertiser and Publisher experiences. COME AND HELP MAINTAIN A FIRST CLASS END-USER, ADVERTISER, AND PUBLISHER EXPERIENCE IN AN $4B ADVERTISING BUSINESS.

Core Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage escalation queues to carefully review advertiser's appeals to editorial rejections as well as identify and implement appropriate control list updates
- Make decisions on advertising content based on policy and effectively communicate the outcome to the advertiser
- Evangelize and represent company editorial policies and processes throughout assigned market(s) and customer segment(s)
- Identify and implement appropriate control list updates as needed based on trends in data
- Keep abreast of high risk content areas in Internet advertising which may affect the ad approval policy and review process
- Drive advertiser and service team issue resolution and managing to core KPIs

Required Qualifications:

- Online Search Advertising experience
- Customer service experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong spreadsheet competency with Excel required and skilled in other desktop apps including Word, PowerPoint, Project
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding established goals on a consistent basis
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to reporting accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Comfort level for working with sensitive and high-risk content
- Aptitude for being detail-oriented & thorough, with ability to understand the "big picture" and business strategy behind business rules
- Ability to follow a defined process efficiently and effectively
- Ability to review data with accuracy, complete audit processes and test accuracy of business rule applications
- Experience partnering with cross-functional groups
- University/college degree or equivalent
