EC&I Engineer

You will be primarily responsible for: - All company Control and Instrumentation issues - Creating C&I system design specifications - Tender appraisal, equipment and supplier selection - Operation and configuration of SCADA, PLC and data collection systems Essential Requirements: * Time served apprenticeship in a C&I discipline, supplemented by either a HNC, HND or equivalent, or a degree or equivalent. * Significant experience of Project Engineering * Proven ability to reach practical, cost-effective and safe solutions To be suitable for the role, you will have: - Proven experience of working with control and instrumentation systems - Extensive experience of DCS/SCADA and PLC configuration and programming - Instrumentation process engineering and/or electrical generation within the renewable or oil & gas sector (or similar industry) - An understanding of installation design for the marine environment - Experience in Project management, including controls, planning and estimating and preparation of deliverables Team fit is a big deal for this client.
