A vacancy has arisen within the Airbus Group Employment Operations (AGEO) Early Careers Team for an Early Careers Recruiter. The jobholder will work to provide a complete recruitment service to the Airbus Defence and Space customer in the UK to fill Graduate, Intern and Apprentice roles.

To deliver on our commitments to the customer, the AGEO team is looking for an individual with experience in the complete recruitment process. With a proven track record in customer service, the successful candidate will have the ability to develop strong customer/supplier relationships, ensuring the delivery of operational and service objectives through proximity with the customer.

The aims and objectives of the role itself are as follows: -

Objectives/Aims:

-To work closely with the business to ensure that the staffing plan requirements are built into the recruitment plan.
-To recruit the 'right' quality and number of Early Careers candidates in line with business requirements; on time; and on budget within an agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
-To ensure that the recruitment process is kept documented.
-To ensure the right level of Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) is delivered
-To use industry best practice and customer requirements in the design and application of selection methods and techniques including assessment centre content and management.
-To review applications against the agreed criteria
-To manage the arrangement of the assessment centres including the co-ordination of candidates.
-Management of supporting the following processes

oExpenses
oSecurity
oMedical
oOffer
-To manage the budget available for Airbus Defence and Space Early Careers recruitment and sourcing
-Responsible for the onboarding activities for new starts into the business

Marketing:

-Working with the Employment Marketing Recruiter in assisting in the organisation and design of marketing plan for campaigns of recruitment
-Representing the Airbus Group at careers fairs
-Analysis of figures of campaigns and identifying improvements for future campaign

The successful candidate will need to have:

-High organizational skills
-Strong professional manner
-Strong customer service skills
-Ability to communicate with all levels of management and candidates
-Ability to manage external providers
-Ability to manage high customer expectations
-Ability to manage a heavy workload and work to tight deadlines
-Ability to remain calm under pressure
-Ability to work to time, cost and quality

What are the key challenges of the role?

The Early Careers Recruiter role is very challenging with a high profile customer base. You will be responsible for making sure that we bring the right candidates into the positions who will help Airbus Defence and Space in their mission for excellence.

Some of the key challenges that you will face are:

-How to ensure that you recruit the right people in to the positions?
-What tools and techniques will bring out the skills that you need to see in the candidates?
-Managing a high work load, whilst portraying a professional image to your customers.
