DEPARTMENT: Front Office Support - IT

JOB TITLE: FOS Intern

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tasks:

First line support for all Front Office users OS, applications, desktop issues
Supporting all hardware/software requirements/Peripheral equipment
Will be required to coordinate tasks ie rollouts, application upgrades driven via policy changes & projects
Escalates issues to manager which may have a significant impact on the Front Office/client satisfaction
Provide a dedicated support service to VIP end users (client)
Commitment to take high ownership over issues raised within the FO
Provide troubleshooting over the various Front End applications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1st & 2nd line desktop & peripheral equipment support
Generating PC & laptop builds/images
Maintain FO systems audits by application
Maintain FOS Stock Room
Manage & record all purchase orders via vendors (Kelway/Cristel Graphics etc)
Coordinate Antivirus updates
Coordinate all Blackberry requests (new orders, upgrades, faults)
Liaising with Systems & Network teams to resolve Front Office Issues
Manage Vendor visits to site, ensuring all issues are captured through regular visits
Responsibility for ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal Policies that relate to you, your business or other businesses for which you have any level of responsibility.  It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with operational risk requirements (eg Golden rules, security policies and regulatory requirements). 
Responsibility for managing, controlling, preparing and escalating risk within the scope of your position.
Responsibility for reading, understanding and complying with the Company's Conduct and Standards and corresponding regulations. You will be notified of changes to policies in a timely manner through announcements and/or Intranet updates.
Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties. Your actions should always be able to satisfy high standards of scrutiny.
Observe proper standards of market conduct.  Responsibility to ensure that you take reasonable steps to be fully aware of, understand and comply with all regulatory requirements from all regulatory bodies that are applicable to your business.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

Skills:

Good PC skills, desktop policy, Security, Active Directory aware.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Solid customer service/people skills
Team work

EXPERIENCE:

Work experience within IT/Customer service organisation
Solid desktop support skills: OS Win 7 & XP, Email, browser etc
Knowledge of telecoms ie Blackberry processes/mobile devices
Good knowledge: PC Hardware over all risks associated with Front Office desks.
