Projektbeschreibung

Role Title:E-learning Developer
Duration: 6 months
Location: Central London

Assignment:

Develops and programs complex high quality E-learning content that involves writing code using specialist tools and software delivering robust and resilient training via the NCALT MLE (Managed Learning Environment) to support key legislative and regulatory police training.

Key tasks:

* Takes responsibility for the technical design, creation, packaging and maintenance of E-learning and develops to deliver agreed outcomes as defined in the design solution.
* Define, create and influence E-learning design to achieve optimal levels of usability that includes screen design/layout/consistency and response times
* Provides regular updates on progress, risk and issues to Project Manager and Producer and attends regular project meetings to gather information and escalate issues
* Design the content and appearance of complex E-learning deliverables in collaboration with producers, instructional designers, interactive designers and testers
* Adheres to recommended coding standards and applies best practice for maintaining version control
* Responds and deals with incidents and problems that require specialist technical support. To update and close assigned incidents in Remedy
* Ensure all changes are logged and kept updated through to closure. Update the Change Management toll with testing progress and closing of requests for changes once live

Key deliverables and timescales:

* Development and delivery of E-learning from specification to technical testing approval
* Version controlled coding and documentation
* Recommendations on new learning technologies including benefits analysis and prototyping sample content

Qualifications required:

* Programming Software Development (PROG) Level 4: The design, coding, testing and documentation of complex E-learning from defined specifications using agreed standards and specialist development tools to achieve a well engineered result
* Systems Integration (SINT) Level 4: The integration and configuration of E-learning modules for integrating on the MLE ensuring the tracking and knowledge data checks are accurately recorded.

Experience required:

* Interactive Development Experience: Extensive experience working as a developer using ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0, Adobe Flash CS3 and FLEX UI framework with a proven track record of developing interactive products and services in a complex web environment
* SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model): Strong experience and knowledge of SCORM with a thorough understanding of standards and specifications for web based E-learning.
* Learning Management Systems (LMS): A thorough working knowledge of E-learning creation, associated tools and Learning Management Systems
* Knowledge across the sector applying research in new learning technologies to the benefit of the team, projects and services

Desirable:
