Dynamics NAV Systems Accountant

A multinational company based in Berkshire require a Dynamics NAV Systems Accountant for a 9 month contract. This person will be responsible for the operative day to day management of the accounting and reporting function, as well as acting as superuser for Dynamics NAV.

Major responsibilities for the Accountant will include all general ledger work, the sub ledgers and their reconciliations, as well as all intercompany transactions. The Accountant is also responsible for supervising all internal and external reports using Jet Reports. They will also be the superuser for the Dynamics NAV system and will be expected to train users on Dynamics NAV.

Role Requirements:

*Fully/part qualified (ACA, ACCA)
*Several years of accounting experience either in industry or practice
*Solid financial accounting skills
*Extensive knowledge of UK-GAAP and IFRS
*Dynamics NAV experience
*A certain degree of commercial understanding required and ability to translate commercial input into financial terms and vice versa.
*Able to be flexible and work within a close-knit team
*Teamwork/ownership
*Able to work independently
*View for necessary improvements of financial processes
*Ability to work towards timelines and under pressure (month end, year end)
