DWH TEST MANAGER/BI CONSULTANT (1518)
For our client in Zurich we are looking for immediate support in the form of a DWH TEST MANAGER/BI CONSULTANT (1518)
This role is in the DWH Business Intelligence testing area. We have a suite of DWH applications where we require a pro-active, customer oriented, Test Engineer/Test Manager. Due to the nature of our environment we require people who are able to work as both TE and TM, but primarily as a test manager coordinator for an international testing team.
Our Team, part of the global testing services organization is offering a challenging position for a Test Manager DWH (f/m)
As a TM you should be able to manage IT testing for a Business Intelligence Project team by delivering quality and testing services that include test management, test design, test execution, test reporting.
This role requires close coordination and cooperation with the IT project and business test teams.
Provide hands on test management for the DWH applications
Proven experience in following the testing process is essential.
Solid background with Test Design, Test Execution, and defect follow-up.
Experience in Oracle development will make his knowledge very valuable for testing in the BI team overall.
Able to lead meetings with the business, with a deep understanding of potentially politically difficult situations.
Strong ability to interact with, review, and provide actionable feedback to the other Requirements Engineers.
Duties include, Test Management, Execution, Reporting, Monitoring and Controlling testing as well as coordinating testing with the Business.
As a TM, Manage IT testing for the DWH/BI Project team by delivering quality and testing services that include test management, test design, test execution, test reporting. This role requires close coordination and cooperation with the IT project and business test teams.
Test Manager, CMMI Process, ISTQB, SQL, Unix, DWH, Saas background is benefial, 5 or more years in Banking is a plus
Qualification:
Strong organization skills

Experience with managing a team
Attention to detail
Technology:
o OLAP experience
o Business Intelligence
o SQL, Unix, DWH, Datamarts
o ISTQB certification preferred
Languages
o English and German
