DWH Project Manager - Telco - Consultant - Contract

DWH Project Manager - Telco - Consultant is required to provide overall project governance & direction for the development team. Conduct review sessions with the clients Program/Project Manager and architects to validate and refine functional and technical requirements. Develop high level and low level project plans. Quality management - review project deliverables to review the solution for quality, accuracy, and alignment to the client's needs. Creation of Statements of Work. You must have experience in the following: Managing delivery projects via both waterfall and agile methodologies and of managing multiple projects concurrently. A proven track record of managing and communicating with senior customer stakeholders. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Project Manager in a DWH development environment delivering complex DWH solutions. Good understanding of BI/DW best practices and key concepts (eg dimensional modelling). Working in an onshore/offshore environment involving offshore development and test teams. Excellent communication skills. Good project documentation skills. Prince II, PMP or equivalent Project Management qualification. Also beneficial will be work experience in the Telecommunications sector. Working knowledge of the technical environment (Informatica, Teradata, Microstrategy). Ability to drive change and work effectively with all levels of stakeholders in a high pressure environment. Excellent planning and organisation skills. Customer focused and goal orientated with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations. Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion. Excellent team management skills. Ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with other functions.
