DW BI CONSULTANT - ARCHITECT

DURATION: 3 months +

LOCATION: Geneva, Switzerland

PRIMARY SKILLS: Data warehouse, BI

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Should have 5-10 years of DW/BI experience
- Good knowledge of all aspects of BI - Architecture, Modeling, Data Integration, Reporting and Analytics
- Hands-on experience in 1 ETL & 1 Reporting tools
- Should have handled atleast 5 end to end BI consulting assignments
- Multi-country exposure is desirable
- Review the existing CUSTOMER Solutions Architecture to understand the various data sources that BI may need to report on, mindful of the potential inclusion of public domain data in the required BI analytics
- Understand the different security requirements/issues, hosting/license arrangements, Firewall/port settings related to the different applications (PeopleSoft/Hyperion/PCT/Madrid etc.) and determine the implications of these on the BI Architecture and DWH strategy.
- Understand the different access and security requirements/issues related to the different internal and external user groups, in particular member states and CUSTOMER regional offices, and determine the implications of these on the BI Architecture and DWH strategy.
- Develop guidelines, principals, standards that will enforce best practice with respect to BI Architecture and DWH strategy, including Developing, Test and Prod environment management.
