Outsource UK Ltd is actively seeking to recruit for a contract DV Cleared Signature & Antenna Engineer on behalf of a client.

The Client: Working for a well known Defence organisation working within aviation systems.

The Job:
Working in the radio frequency (RF) domain for a well known MOD organisation. To evaluate, through modelling and practical experimentation, the performance of antenna-related RF technologies of interest. You will also design and co-ordinate trials-based measurement activities and related studies assessing the RCS.

KEY SKILLS INCLUDE

- Significant RF engineering experience including modelling and testing of all aspects of RF antenna performance characteristics and radar scattering properties, across a broad range of frequencies.
- Specification, placement and management of RF and RCS trials tasks with industry.
- Significant recent experience of UK state-of-the-art modelling tools for RCS analysis.
- Application of mechanical engineering knowledge and experience to RF trials and modelling activities.
- High quality report writing and data presentation.
- CAD modelling experience.
- Computer programming experience (C, Visual Basic).
- Demonstrated, recent experience of modelling radar cross section (RCS) from component to whole level using state-of-the-art UK RCS modelling tools and techniques.

This is a 12 month contract role and is commutable from Portsmouth. Basingstoke, Southampton and Reading.
