Dutch Speaking Test Engineer

Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking Test Engineer to join a prestigious client located in Brussels, Belgium. This is a contract position with a duration of 9 months.

Our Client:-
The Ministry of the Flemish Community (MVG) was from January 1, 1983 to January 1, 2006 the official organization of the Government of Flanders, where the Flemish Government policy is implemented. The ministry was divided into departments were headed by a Secretary-General. The departments knew another subdivision in administrations. The administrations were led by a Director General.

Your New role:-

The medior Test Engineer is deployed in projects within the ICT department of ANB, among others in the context of the LIFE project. (LIFE 14 IPE B002 BNIP action A9).

As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for testing the quality of the software and solutions to be delivered. As a Test Engineer, you have been involved in compiling (Initial) Requirements up to and including (and Coordination) User and Production Acceptance Tests, including, in the medium term, load and performance testing.

- We work within the Agency (in part) according to the Agile/Scrum development method, it is a plus if you have experience with it.
- You have intensive alignment with users and you work closely with the functional analysts and developers on a project basis.
- As a Test Engineer, you work on behalf of the project leader, as a project team member and regularly report progress to the project manager
-You will initially manually test manually based on the test plan and test scripts you previously worked out. Based on knowledge of the subject of the application that you test, you will provide feedback to the project leader or developers for improvement where necessary. In addition, you will take the lead in our organization to introduce automated testing where this could result in great high efficiency and effectiveness gains.

You rate the user-requested documents, assesses the quality of the design specifications, and develops (risk-based) test plans and test scripts. In order to ensure that the developed software complies with the design and guidelines, you will perform both manual and automated testing.

You are working on a test strategy based on the specifications of each (type) project. Based on the test strategy, you will then work out the test plan incorporating all test activities. A global and later phase of a detailed assessment and planning of the test activities must be distilled from this

The results in terms of progress and quality make you insightful by means of Various reports and generated output. In this challenging function, you operate at the cutting edge of customer, business processes and IT processes, such as changes in customer and work processes, system adjustments, implementations and conversions.

You are actively involved in the implementation of the test planning.
