Dutch Speaking Storage Engineer - ASAP start - Antwerp

Responsibilities
- Deployment, management, support, troubleshooting of the storage and/or backup environment in EMEA.
- 3rd line support for the Backup service in the BIS - EMEA setups.
- Disc space provisioning to middle and large size systems in different business related projects
- Backup services for different Servers in the data center
- Global project member to align the storage worldwide with regards to tooling and/or infrastructure and ability to align with globally imposed processes
- Identify optimization opportunities through consolidation or simplification and executes those plans if there are substantial strategic/cost justifications
- Map the needs of the Business Customers to the existing technology and we give our business the competitive advantage by delivering them superior storage services
- Assist in the development of and participate in Disaster Recover Exercises Non
-Technical profile requirements
- Good broad all-round storage skills - SAN/NAS, Netapp, EMC, HP EVA, IBM, Cisco, Brocade Switches
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Adhere to processes, Quality and Control according to internal and global imposed regulations
- Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work)
- On-call permanency is possible
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
