IT EXPERT - 30 DAY AUDIT AND DEVELOPMENT OF ROADMAP: ORACLE, PEOPLESOFT, ARCHITECTURE, STORAGE, INFRASTRUCTURE
IT Expert sought for a 30 Day Audit and Development of Roadmap for client based in Brussels/Belgium.
The person responsible for the HRM system (Oracle Peoplesoft) at our client site wants an independent review of their hosting platform and a roadmap for the coming years. They expect a 100% increase of the workload (new customers, restructuring, etc. ).
The review will not only involve the hosting infrastructure, but also:
- The application architecture, eg how current workload, such as batch jobs, are structured, and could be optimized
- The current use of different "environments" (dev/test/prod/...)
- The monitoring, capacity planning tools, processes and procedures
- etc....
The initial estimate is 30 Man-days for the review of the current systems and development of the roadmap. This will most likely lead to a longer term assignment. Also as part of the initial job, an expected "follow-up ' workload of 1 to 2 Days per Month for the next couple of Months is expected.
The ideal candidate for this role, should have the following skill set:
- Excellent experience in ICT domains: Oracle, Peoplesoft
- Applications Architecture
- Storage
- Infrastructure
- Must speak fluent Business Level Dutch or Flemish
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have experience in conducting reviews, making recommendations etc.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be seen as a trusted advisor
START DATE: 01 September 2013
DURATION: The initial estimate is 30 Man-Days for the review of the current systems and development of the roadmap - between now and December 2013.
