Dutch Speaking Citrix Engineer

Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch Speaking Citrix Engineer for our client based in Brussels, Belgium

Our Client:-

The Ministry of the Flemish Community (MVG) was from January 1, 1983 to January 1, 2006 the official organization of the Government of Flanders, where the Flemish Government policy is implemented. The ministry was divided into departments were headed by a Secretary-General. The departments knew another subdivision in administrations. The administrations were led by a Director General.

Your New role:-

Hiring a senior Citrix engineer for the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries Department of Informatics (ICT).

Technical context The senior Citrix engineer is responsible for migrating the migration of the existing Citrix environment to Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop v7.13 or higher.

The current environment consists of the following logical components:

- Citrix XenApp 6.5 Remote Desktop Session Hosts

O Physical Providers based on HP ProLiant systems
O Virtual Servers based on Vmware vSphere
- Citrix WebInterface 5.x
- Citrix XenDesktop 5.5

O With Microsoft SQL Server as a database platform
- Citrix NetScaler 10.5

O Telework/NetScaler Gateway

This environment is made available through Windows 10/7 thin clients and is used to provide the full workplace to the employees of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-

The proposed candidate must at least comply with the competences listed below. This must be evident from the candidates CV. Candidates who do not meet these minimum requirements will not be eligible for the job.

- Knowledge and experience (5 years) as Citrix Engineer/Consultant
- Knowledge and experience (5 years) with Windows Server 2008 or higher
- Knowledge and experience (5 years) with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
- Knowledge and experience (3 years) with DNS and IP

Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies applies as a plus:

- Windows PowerShell
- Microsoft IIS Application Servers
- Citrix Media Redirection
- Citrix 3D Support

Business context The Digital Support department of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries stands for:

- The development and maintenance of the application software for agricultural production management, and the insurance of the operation and the security of the relevant information systems.
- The development of ICT services for the entire Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
- The formulation and follow-up of the budget for the GBCS and the completion of public procurement.
- Building expertise and implementation of e-government projects and administrative simplification.

The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries wishes to hire a senior Citrix engineer to assist the IT department of the Digital Support Department.
This service represents the development and maintenance of the Agricultural Production Management Application Software (GBCS) and the assurance of the operation and security of the relevant information systems.
