Dublin - 2nd Line Support Engineer - 3 Month Rolling Contract

Austin Fraser are searching for a high level IT Support Engineer to work with a global telecomms client on the outskirts of Dublin. The IT Support Engineer will play a critical role directly supporting all the client's team providing desktop, software and mobile device troubleshooting. The successful candidate must employing the ultiimate level of customer service and 1st/2nd Line Support expertise.

ESSENTIAL EXPOSURE:

Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8 desktops and laptops

Microsoft Office 2010, 2013 productivity software

Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server and Windows Server

Mobile phone devices (BlackBerry, iOS, Android)

Windows VPN, Mac VPN Configuration and Administration

Mac OSX installation and configuration (including Office for Mac)

Basic User & Security Group Active Directory administration

DESIRABLE EXPOSURE:

Good understanding of Desktop technologies and applications Office 365, SCCM, Skype for business (Lync) and Intune

Experience of assigning Exchange permissions, delegation and calendar sharing in Office 365

Good understanding of networking principles

Experienced in troubleshooting networked services such as WAN, LAN, WIFI

Good knowledge of industry best practices and methodologies such as ITIL V3
