DTV TEST ENGINEER/LEAD - €300/400 - 18 MONTHS - BRUSSELS

This is a great opportunity to work in a growing international company in the broadcast space. My client is recruiting heavily and willing to wait 4 weeks for the right people. This is an English speaking role and the right candidates must be wiling to travel.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Technology areas: DVB, IPTV, Video-on-Demand, Over-the-Top
- Technologies: MPEG, DVB SI, DSM-CC, DVB-C
- Digital TV Set-Top Box Testing
- Test Execution (also using head-end equipment)
- Digital TV Head-end Testing
- Testing new configurations and/or new components of digital TV head-ends
- Test Execution (using Set-Top Boxes and DVB monitoring tools)
- Bug Reporting and management
- Coordination of small technical teams (0 - 4 people)
- Test Result Reporting (Technical & Management)
- Willingness to travel

TASKS:

- Gathering requirements, objectives
- Attending client meetings, networking
- Summarizing requirements, objectives for the test projects
- Specifying test cases & test procedure & test coverage
- Estimating required time for test execution
- Test Execution and Coordination of Test Execution
- Using Set-Top Boxes and DVB Monitoring Tools
- Test Result Reporting (Technical & Management)
